CORDYCEPS

THEATER

wed 21h00 | runtime TBA | 12+ yearsAuditoriumprice A: 10€ (stalls and boxes) / 5€ (side rows) // discounts may apply

This is the last day of democracy. With its extinction, too, disappear the access to any form of expression and free thought. Consequently, this is the last show you will ever see. João Pedro Leal, Eduardo Molina and Marco Mendonça

‘Cordyceps' invites us to enter a world where democracy will meet its end, a world where individual freedoms are called into question. The motto is one, and one alone: attend the last free show and enjoy it as much as you can, without dramatising the tragic outcome we will all be a part of. It will be a happy occasion, like a farewell to a place to which we will never return, where politics and fiction, the future and the now, give rise to the prototype of a dystopian society.
This performance was developed under the Invitation Programme for National Artistic Creation, launched by the 5 Sentidos (5 Senses) cultural programming network.
